There are so many different looks you can create with Black Liner and for me it’s a must have make up item.  Heres some I’ve bought and tried.

Eye Liner Styles

New CID i-flick – £16.65

New CID i-Flick

This is a double ended black eyeliner its has a carbon twist up pencil end which is prefect for doing your water lines and smudging to create a softer edge.
The other end is a felt tip liner this is the best I’ve found in this style of we liner I don’t normally like felt tip versions as they seem to go on very opaque and others I’ve tried  have just smudged off in seconds. However this is great, especially for a beginner, you can build up the intensity easily and create a beautiful cat flick with ease. It doesn’t drag the skin and the tip is the perfect size.  I also love the packaging.

The Bodyshop Carbon Eye Definer in Black – £9.00

This is a soft but not smudgy liner witThe Body Shop Carbon Eye Definerh a sponge tip at other end which allows you to blend the pencil for a softer edge. Great if your not brilliant at applying liner or scared to do so as it does smudge. Brilliant on waterlines for this reason too. If your wanting to create a more Gothic messy look then  Try.. Soap &  Glory  Gel Kohl –  £5

 Bobbi Brown Gel Liner-  £17.00

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear-Gel-EyelinerThis liner gives the look of a liquid but is meant to be easeir to apply.  I didnt find it easeir than a liquid liner for instant Urban Decays but what I do like is the fact you can get a thin or thick line depending on you brush so it is very versatile and a great for travelling or your makeup kit. Its also is water resistant and long wearing. On the downside it does dry fairly quickly so I wouldnt recommend it for a noveice as you could be removing and reapplying alot.  If your looking for a cheaper alternative head to Collection (2000) and get their Lasting colour gel liner for £4.99 it comes with a rubbish brush but with the money you save you could buy one.
Try.. ELF for a great Precision Brush in there Studio range £3.95  – www.eyeslipsface.co.uk
