Spring Time is My Favourite Season…. I love the freshness and beautiful colours we all get to see in the garden and more importantly the new seasons products. Here’s what am waiting to get my hands on…
Lets start with Too Faced Cosmetics…
At the moment these aren’t available in the UK, they will more than likely hit our shores before very long… I hope!!
Its just looks sooooo beautiful, three blusher shades in one total cute tin. Rose, coral and peach, baked color formula that works on all skin tones. I just cant wait to try this one.
In the same line they also have..
This is another beautifully packaged palette …’ Boudoir Eyes’ . There are five brand new shades in this palette so if your all ready a Too Faced it nice to know your not just get the same shades in new packaging.
Finally what looks set to be my fave is the ‘No Makeup Makeup’ palette.
This multitasking face palette has Shimmer Veil, Creme Blush, Powder Blush, Concealer, Luminizer, Brightener. It’s all about creating a flawless radiant complexion. Both of the palette included the Glamour Guides which are great for showing how use the products to their full potential.
As these are currently only in US (Blusher $29; Eye Palette $33; Complexion $39) I don’t know prices for UK.
Next we have Drugstore brand MUA…
Above are the new Matte Foundation £2 and Matte transparent loose powder £2.30. The foundation is water based (oil free) so great for oily blemished skin. Ive also pictures the new concealer… solid £1 and liquid £1.50. These are very cheap and until I try them am not sure how good they will work or cover. I am also a little dubious of the ingredients too because of the low price this isn’t something that bothers everyone but it highly important to me as my skin breakouts easily and some ingredients can cause problems with long term use. I’ll report back once I get hold of them.
They also have a ‘Pro-Base’ range there are a few new products but the one am particularly interested in is the Setting spray or ‘Fixing Mist’ £5.
Bobbi Brown also have some new products out …
They have redesigned there ‘Tinted Eye Brightener’ £19.50 there is now more product and a lower price!! Yes you read that correctly. There’s also a new shade of ‘Brightening Finishing Powder’ £40 called Porcelain Pearl it carries a heavy price tag and is one I’ll be testing out in store.
Their new ‘Retouching Powder’ £25, sure has a lot of claims to stand up to…
Colour-correcting shades; to help brighten and even out skin tone; invisibly diminish the appearance of dark spots, fine lines, redness and other imperfections; gives skin an airbrushed look.
It claims it made to soothe skin, control oil, never look cakey or powdery
It also says i can be used as an alternative to blush or bronzer or to correct “in-between” foundation shades.
All these statements certainly make me want to try it but will it live up to them???
Here’s a few other new products i’ll be watching out for…
NYX – Love In…. eye palette collection comes in a variety of tones with a mixer of shimmer and matte shades.
Estee Lauder – New Lipsticks.
Creamy, lightweight matte formula with a sheer and satin finish, the highly pigmented lipstick shades available in Naked, Rock Candy, Rebel, Demure*Can’t wait… try NYX Soft Matte Lip cream £5 or Collection’s (2000) £2.99
Nars – Spring Colour Collection I love the look of the pink eyeshadow duo and think it could work really well with the plum colour blush and lip stick!!
